Pink Opal falls within the 'common Opal' category. It can be found in many locations throughout the world in a series of colours such as white, blue, pink, and black and brown. It is generally opaque, and does not show any of the 'fire' exhibited by precious Opal. The best Pink Opal specimens are found in Peru.
Opal is emotionally supportive and nurturing, and is an excellent stone to alleviate worry, chronic stress and depression. Pink Opal clears and calms the heart, and brings a sense of peace and tranquillity to one's aura.
